How billing works
- Wallet checks are charged only when data is returned. Failed lookups and empty answers restore the charge.
- Reports paid from a wallet charge the list price of the sections that return data, never more than the report cap. Sections that do not apply to the vehicle or market are not charged.
- Card purchases are a fixed price. If the VIN of a purchased check or report cannot be decoded, the purchase stays available to retry.
- There is no subscription, no monthly reset and no automatic top-up. Wallet balances do not expire.
- Prices are in euros and include tax.
Individual vehicle records, not a comprehensive accident, title or ownership report. Missing records do not prove a clean history.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a subscription?
No. RevalVIN is pay per check. Top up a prepaid wallet, or pay for a single check or report by card. Wallet balances carry forward with no monthly reset and no expiry.
What happens if a check returns no data?
Wallet charges are restored when a lookup fails or returns nothing, and wallet reports only charge the sections that return data. A card purchase whose VIN cannot be decoded stays available to retry.
How much does a full vehicle report cost?
The Complete report costs up to €0.99 from a wallet or €3.99 by card. It combines 9 checks worth €1.90 when bought separately.
Why is paying from a wallet cheaper than paying by card?
A top-up spreads card processing costs over many checks, so wallet prices are lower than one-off card purchases. Larger top-ups also add bonus credit.
Can I use the same balance for the API?
Yes. One wallet pays for dashboard checks and for API requests made with your API keys. Developer API access is in preview and requires activation.
