Limitations
- Availability varies by vehicle and country. If no readings exist, the wallet charge is restored.
- Readings come from recorded events, not continuous tracking, so gaps between years are normal.
- Units are shown as reported, usually kilometres.
Individual vehicle records, not a comprehensive accident, title or ownership report. Missing records do not prove a clean history.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a mileage history check cost?
€0.20 per successful result from a prepaid wallet, or €0.99 as a one-off card purchase. If the lookup fails or returns nothing, the wallet charge is restored.
Where does a mileage history check work?
It is not limited to one country: global, availability varies by vehicle.
What do I need to run a mileage history check?
You need the VIN.
Can a mileage history check detect a rolled-back odometer?
It flags any reading that is lower than an earlier one. A rollback made between two recorded events, or before the first record, cannot be detected from the data alone.
